AMT and Personnal Data

Our core business is not in the field of personal data. Consequently, the personal data we collect through the normal use of our site is not relevant to our business. This is why AMT will not analyze or process your data beyond what is necessary to provide you with quality services and information. This means that we do NOT use your data for online monitoring, profiling or targeting for advertising, for example, or for any other digital tracking applications.

Lastly, please note that we will never ask for sensitive personal data on our website such as information relating to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion or other beliefs, health, etc. Similarly, we do not require data concerning children.

When you access our website, your computer and our server automatically exchange data. This exchange is necessary, firstly for security reasons, to detect any unauthorized attempt to download or modify information, and secondly to ensure that our server provides you with responses that are compatible with the computer equipment you are using. This is done with the help of cookies, which are small text files stored locally in your browser’s (internal) cache memory. They are used to make our website more user-friendly, efficient and secure. Please note that you can set the acceptable cookie settings yourself in your browser (see your browser preferences).

There are several types of cookies. However, AMT uses only two types of cookies, whose use and designation are defined in our Cookies Policy. For more details, please consult our Cookies Policy

The data exchanged by these cookies includes the following:

  • Identification of your Internet service provider;
  • Your IP address (a numerical address that can be used to precisely locate a computer connected to the Internet);
  • Your browser type and operating system;
  • The pages of our site you visit and the time you spend there;
  • The date and time you access these pages.

Necessary Cookies

Most of the information transmitted automatically by these cookies between computers does not reveal your identity. It is only collected because of the technological requirements inherent in Internet browsing and the security of our server.

These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of our website and cannot be disabled in our systems. They are set in response to actions you have taken that represent a request for services, such as setting your language preferences, certain pre-viewed notifications, your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms, etc.

You can set your browser to block or notify you of cookies, but some parts of the website may be affected and you may find it difficult to browse.

Please note that these cookies do not store any identifiable personal information.

Sharing your Data for Analysis and Statistical Purposes – Google Analytics

AMT uses Google and its Google Analytics service to collect information about its visitors in order to analyze the performance of its website. By sending your browsing data to this third-party service, we can measure web traffic and provide statistics on use, interaction and functionality. These statistics enable AMT to improve and refine its service offering to provide users with relevant and accurate information.

You may always refuse to have your information shared with this third-party. A Cookies Consent will be available when you enter the website. You can access it now by moving your mouse to the bottom right-hand corner of this window. This consent or refusal is valid for 365 days. After this period, you will need to restate your intent.

The information collected by Google Analytics includes, for example, the pages you visit, the date, time, duration and frequency of your visits, and the links you click on. The type of operating system and language used on your computer, the name of your Internet service provider and your geographical location (region) are also part of the information collected. Your IP address is also collected, but is made anonymous to ensure the confidentiality of your information. Anonymizing an IP address prevents the identity of an Internet user from being known through it.

Google inc. 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA  94043, USA, is the provider of the Google Analytics service. The data transmitted to Google Analytics is stored on Google servers in the USA. Google is committed to complying with applicable privacy regulations and is registered with the Privacy Shield program of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required to do so by law, or if such third parties process the data on Google’s behalf. Google will only use the information collected to produce statistics and reports on the navigation of our website and AMT will only use it for this purpose.

As in all our activities, AMT uses advanced technologies and solutions to ensure the protection and integrity of your data. We rely on experts in the field to implement both digital and physical protection measures.
