Golf FORE Kids’ Sake
Swinging for a Great Cause
It was during the Golf FORE Kids’ Sake tournament, presented by Linamar Corporation in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph, that our Business Development Manager, Rick Pinga, brought out his best swing.
Under a blazing sun, he took on all 18 holes, hitting that tiny white ball with determination and, at times, a touch of frustration. Because yes, even the less-than-perfect shots can do some good… when they’re for a great cause.
Thank you to all the members of Linamar Corporation for the round of golf — it’s always a pleasure to work with you.

APMA – Driven to the brink
When Tariffs Challenge the Automotive Supply Chain
AMT attended the Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association (APMA) conference in Windsor, Ontario: “Driven to the Brink – Tariffs and Canada’s Auto Sector,” hosted by Flavio Volpe, President of the APMA.
In a global industry as interconnected as automotive, tariffs simply don’t add up. Flavio Volpe urged all of us to speak out and leverage the power of the media to highlight what the numbers clearly demonstrate: these tariffs make no economic sense.
Canada has been a key player in automotive manufacturing since the 1910s, and today’s industry is more integrated than ever — across borders, supply chains, and technological innovation.
It is crucial to keep this conversation going. In any meaningful dialogue, facts, data, and scientific rigor carry the greatest weight — and that is what will ultimately tip the balance in our favor. The future of the sector depends on it.

Our beginning
The Legacy of Roger Tremblay: Daring to Succeed
This is AMT’s very first location in Saint-Cyprien, Québec, Canada. According to the story, the first aluminum part injected using a plastic molding machine was produced here. In fact, AMT founder Roger Tremblay and his colleague Jean-Eudes Denis are said to have rushed outside, fearing the machine might explode.
Today, this story makes us smile, as both the building and the technology seem quite rudimentary. Yet at the time, the idea was remarkably ingenious, and it was this very innovation that truly launched AMT’s development. This milestone left a lasting mark on our history.
Over the years, we have continued to take risks, innovate, explore new techniques, and push the boundaries of die casting. Nearly 60 years later, this journey has led to the mastery of a unique process for manufacturing high-integrity aluminum parts.
And it has served us well.

Shirt Raising
Celebrating commitment
Every year, we raise jerseys bearing team members’ names and numbers to the ceiling of our Saint-Cyprien factory, just as is done in sports arenas. The number on each jersey represents the years of service of employees who have reached an important milestone.
We see this tradition as a meaningful symbol. Much like in sports arenas, it is our way of paying tribute to those who have chosen to be part of our team and who, through their dedication and commitment, contribute to AMT’s success.
A special thank you to this year’s honorees!

Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo
A trend we follow closely
Each year, engineers, innovators, and thought leaders converge in Novi, Michigan, for a conference and expo focused on keeping up with the fast-moving advanced battery and automotive industries.
Let’s face it, the development of batteries designed for the electrification of road vehicles is on everyone’s lips. Manufacturers, citizens, and governments, it is moving very fast. At AMT, we once again saw the extent of the trend during our visit to The Battery Show and EV Tech Expo.
AMT is monitoring this trend closely and intends to play an active role. Thanks to our A+ process, we manufacture aluminum die-cast parts that meet the industry’s requirements in every respect: high quality, ultra-thin walls, weldable components, heat-treated parts, and high mechanical properties. Our expertise has been recognized many times over.
Furthermore, the use of electric furnaces allows us to significantly reduce our carbon footprint. View the AMT Zero Carbon Melting program.
